The Tutor Group's Restriction Group

Any Tutor Group that is created manually or via another method will be added with the system default restriction group. However, it may be desirable to configure the Tutor Group's restriction group to be something other than the default. You can do this by selecting the appropriate restriction group from the Details tab of the Tutor Group record card.

Should you alter the restriction group of the tutor group, this change will filter down to any borrowers belonging to that group. Note that you can configure the Borrowers independently, preventing them from inheriting the restriction group from the tutor group. In these cases, should you change the restriction group of the tutor group, this will not change the borrower. Only borrowers that are inheriting their settings will be altered.
