It is possible to customise a news items so that it only shows for members of certain Tutor Groups. By default, a news item will be available for everyone unless you change the settings on the Available Tutor Groups tab. The instructions in this topic explain how to do this.

 

·Edit an existing News Item or create a new one.

 

·Next, click on the Available Tutor Groups tab.

 

 

 

·Use the arrow buttons to move the highlighted Available Tutor Group names from/to the Selected Tutor Groups column. Should you not wish to make the news item available to all groups, remove the All Groups item from the Selected Tutor Groups.

 

·Click on the Save button to store any changes made and return to the News table.
